The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen Review

There are those who don’t get luck handed to them on a shiny platter, who end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, who don’t get saved.

Luck was not on Callie’s side the day of her twelfth birthday when everything was stolen from her. After it’s all over, she locks up her feelings and vows never to tell anyone what happened. Six years later her painful past consumes her life and most days it’s a struggle just to breathe.

For as long as Kayden can remember, suffering in silence was the only way to survive life. As long as he did what he was told, everything was okay. One night, after making a terrible mistake, it seems like his life might be over. Luck was on his side, though, when Callie coincidentally is in the right place at the right time and saves him.

Now he can’t stop thinking about the girl he saw at school, but never really knew. When he ends up at the same college as Callie, he does everything he can to try to get to know her. But Callie is reserved and closed off. The more he tries to be part of her life, the more he realizes Callie might need to be saved.

First I like to thank Jessica Sorensen for giving me a copy to review! I love all Jessica's books but The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden is now my new favorite. Even though Callie is going through her own issues she still wants to help others the best she can and try to forget her own problems. Then you have Kayden with his own issues but trys to hide it the best way he can by being popular and just having fun. When Callie and Kayden are together everything is different the walls start to come down slowly and they open up to each other little by little to where they both just want to live again and be happy. Then you have Seth that Callie meets and he helps her a lot with opening up and being herself again. You also have Luke which would be Kayden's best friend he seems to have his own problems but he is there for Kayden. With the four of them together they have tons of fun and they make you laugh. Everyone would love Callie and Kayden its awesome read. You will laugh and you will cry while reading this book but it was worth it. I can't wait to see what happens next after how it ended.
